Claire Storrow

I enjoy writing to people - it's amazing how people react to the written word, and no-one knows how to write letters anymore. Ted Hughes was a prolific letter-writer - he wrote me a letter. Funnily enough I like writing. I will write about anything. I quite like doing boring jobs because it means I write more in my free time. I also like shopping which doesn't always mean buying, it's about research and observation. If you ever see me, feel free to buy me a vodka-tonic. Or a cake.

I can also recommend the Pavillon Nation http://www.pavillon-nation.com/Nation/Accueil.html of the same chain: a little out of the way for some perhaps but I like the neighbourhood and the service is impeccable

Part of the Magnificent Seven Cemeteries: Nunhead, West Norwood, Kensal Green, Highgate, Abney Park, Tower Hamlets, Brompton. All of them worth a visit.

Rather hilariously Simon Ekrelius has defected to My Sugarland - all the more reason to go to Covet and discover some undiscovered talent.

Make sure to ask the waiter for some chimichurri too
Collectively Fun 6/5/2009
Back in the day when this was a private members' club and "weekend membership" was a fiver on the door on Friday and Saturday night, it was a revelation; they played Girls Aloud alongside The Arcade Fire and it felt like a Dali dreamscape as you slowly got more inebriated. Now however, because "like, everybody knows about it" it's not so fun. They would be doing the right thing by shutting it up and coming up with a new space/venue. It was good while it lasted.
