Although some young couples have discovered Adair Park and Capitol View as working-class neighborhoods, business owners have yet to catch on. The area remains primarily residential and oddly dichotomous. Some sections boast large homes, cute bungalows, and (gasp) even sidewalks, while others appear ramshackle, dilapidated, peppered with ugly warehouses, and perhaps a bit scary.
