Barons Court doesn’t have a scene as such, unless you’re a yummy mummy or a Chihuahua. But it is elegantly lovely. Except North End Road—a fried-chicken blot among Edwardian mansions. Check out Lillie Road’s antique stores, particularly Curious Science for the weirdest stock in London. If you need a change from polished chic, seek the Colton Arms for a jug-pint in its cottage-style garden.
