It’s only now dawning on us—this area is sort of, in a way, close to Center City. While not an outward beauty, it has its own kind of tree-starved, industrially-ravaged gorgeousity. And now that The Sopranos is over, you can get your cheap mob thrills at the Warfield Breakfast Express, where La Costa Nostra member Joe Ciancaglini was almost rubbed out back in ‘93.
