PS 7’s Restaurant

It’s official. Penn Quarter’s newest digs, PS 7’s, has taken over downtown. Chef Peter Smith is a culinary master dishing out incredible treats. The atmosphere is phenom with earthy glass tables filled with straw and wood chairs that give you this peaceful forest vibe. My associates and I had a taste of the soon-to-be-released “Ritual” (two shots of Roth vodka, pickled muscat grapes and maldon salt). Quite literally it went down like water and PS7’s also has a beer menu with my beloved Paulaner and a number of other ales like Peg Leg. Bar manager, Adam Bernbach made sure my party and I were never dehydrated and to add to all this food and drink goodness, this summer the restaurant will have outdoor seating making it the perfect spot for a leisurely working lunch or moonlight dinner. Monday through Friday from 5 to 7 p.m. is their 7&7 happy hour with drink and appetizer specials for $7. You can nibble on Wild Mushroom Spring Rolls, Petite House Made Hot Dogs and Half Smokes with Banyuls Scented Pommes Frites, Arancini (risotto balls with salami and gouda), and my all-time favorite Charcuterie (Coppa, Sausison Sec, Pepperoni, Chorizo, Tuscan Salami, and Duck Proscuitto). Salivating Yet?
