Trax Foods
Trax is a knight that came to save an intersection and an area. Trax is a 24-hour ray of light. Trax is a convenience store. Tucked under the El at Front and Girard, Trax serves up groceries, produce, and deli sandwiches for the masses. Moreover, it functions as a sort of neighborhood watch at an intersection that was once only lit at night by the neon beer signs of Club Ozz (which is a fantasy club for gentlemen, if you must know). But Trax isn’t just a good place because of the service it provides. The sandwiches are tasty and cheap as hell, and the sandwich-making girls, who I’m pretty sure are younger than me, always call me “hon.” And the store is stocked with ridiculous random items, so I know that when I have a need to buy a pair of flimsy brown gloves at three in the morning, Trax is there for me. Is there anything that Trax can’t do? I doubt it.
