I debated even writing this. There are some places so good; you don't want anyone to know about them. You want to keep them to yourself. You want to enjoy dinner dates with your lady friend there all the time, and never have to deal with crowds or wait. You want it to be your little secret. Bistro Juliana is one of those places. Located in lovely Fishtown it has everything going for it other then size. It's BYOB, and this Italian restaurant lives to do it's best to keep it's entrees under $20 bucks. Which means for a post-graduate, paycheck-to-paycheck schmuck like me it's perfect for impressing my girl. The food is simple yet phenomenal. I ordered a salmon that slid apart and melted in my mouth. The wait staff was terrific and professional. So you can spend a little, get a lot. Or spend a lot and eat for days. Once you go, you might understand why I’d want to keep this place secret. Just please, afterwards don't pass it along or put it in a city guide or anything dumb like that.
