If you're into French style bistros and you don't know Cafe Presse, you’re blowing it. That, or you're just not on South Capitol Hill very often. Unless you live in the neighborhood or go to Seattle U, 12th and Spring is probably not a familiar destination. Still, the place is usually pretty packed for lunch. The waitstaff is friendly, knowledgeable, and can pull a mean macchiato. They have a full bar and decent wine selection so you can put down bloody marys and mimosas with your oeufs plats and jambon. I've only ever seen the TV tuned to European football (or soccer if you wish), and there's a chalkboard with game times for the week's matches. Presse nails the atmosphere they're going for so much, you almost expect to pay your bill in Euros.
