As a naturally anxious person, I tend to avoid the "fun" of dance parties. While I love gyrating my hips and swinging my arms as much as the next gal, doing so in a crowded room of sweaty strangers who are drinking Sparks doesn't quite appeal to me. However, I am going to make a rare recommendation for a dance party event: Hot Butter. Every Thursday at Sal's, JC DiStefano picks a different film to play dance music over, and this week is a hilarious doozy: he's showing Xanadu while playing the tunes of the Electric Light Orchestra. So, yeah, I'm going out dancing. You should come too. Just don't spill your Sparks on me, okay?
