Mizu
Let's do a simple SAT problem. "Bad Sushi" is to "Not Worth It" as "Mizu" is to.... what? Did you guess "Definitely Not Worth It?" Congratulations, you got an 800 on the analogy section of your food SAT. Recently I've been trying to expand my sushi-eating beyond my dear Hikari, but Mizu was definitely a fail. My Sir and I went to the location near Rittenhouse, where we ordered five huge, mediocre rolls. I just don't understand that. Why not cut the length, use better ingredients, and charge the same price? It seems like sushi spots are split into two categories: good places, and places like Mizu that churn out bad sushi for cheap because people are so wowed when they see inexpensive raw fish. So here's another problem: "Good Sushi" is to "Money Well Spent" as "Mizu Sushi" is to...? The answer isn't difficult to figure out.
