Elwood's Pizza
My favorite thing about my new neighborhood? Well, it's not that I'm close to everything I could ever want or need. It's not my cute little house or friendly neighbors. Nope, it's finding the best calzone in town at Elwood's Pizza! Perfectly-cooked every time and big enough for two meals. Other great picks on the menu include their white pizza and any of the salads. To-go order times are usually under what they quote, a nice plus. One warning before you stop in--it's a very kid-friendly place so be prepared for raucous youngsters, and as Monday is trivia night, be prepared to play!

Cocos Spa
I'm a girl who loves a good massage. And lately my life has been tying me in knots, in more ways than one! So this morning, after grocery shopping, I stopped to find a new spa-nail salon-slice of heaven in the shopping center closest to me! The open door beckoned and the entryway was aesthetically pleasing, calling me inside. I went with the 60-minute massage (Joann even threw in a few extra minutes) and took a flyer for all of the package specials they offer, mainly based on the fact that this place has the most divinely comfortable looking spa pedi chairs I've seen forever! Well-priced, clean and efficient and, most importantly, good at what they do! I'm loco for Cocos!
