Remote Chatsworth is an eclectic community. Decidedly horse country, it was primarily rural as late as the 1980s. It has been the site of countless TV and movie westerns over the years, and Roy Rogers and Dale Evans are among the folks who have called the place home. More recent residents are a bit different—Charles Manson and his “family” set up camp at the Spahn Ranch and Marilyn Manson (no relation, of course) is rumored to reside there today.
