Bobbi Tigh Yoga
You’re on your back, looking up at a high vaulted ceiling just before your lids flutter closed and you think “this feels soooooo good.” And you didn’t even have sex. Bobbi Tighe’s yoga might formally be called Hatha Yoga or Vini Yoga, but it’s probably more appropriately called, as one student put it, Bobbi Yoga. With a focus on stretching and breathing, Bobbi throws in a bit of tai chi or gyrotonics (can’t explain here), depending, apparently, on whatever she’s been into lately. Sometimes it’s like doing yoga with a bunch of your friends who like to talk about, well, usually stupid stuff (“how was your weekend?”). Sometimes the chatter brings you out of your yoga bliss, but on the other hand, everyone feels comfortable here. If you’ve never done yoga and you are not looking for a class full of twenty-something yoga-attired women with their own mats, then this is the place for you. But you’ll have to find it first. Which is kind of like getting to the bat cave. Who doesn’t want to find the bat cave though?
