Comment: Walking down Bedford Ave, it's difficult to focus on where one should explore first, with plenty of windows and shops beckoning one's attention with the hope of good grub, hip items, or delightful company. Blackbird Parlour seemed so promising upon first glance, what with the cozy interior, the books lining the shelves with their beautifully colorful covers, and the sweet window open to the street for crepe service to those wanting a quick bite. But the allure and charm quickly faded, with the most awful service I've ever had to endure. Apart from our server forgetting our drinks, having tables wait forEVER for their orders, not checking in at all, serving people at tables with food literally 10 minutes apart! (sure, I'll just sit here and watch you eat..no, please..go ahead), to the final straw--our server shoving the check towards us, muttering something along the lines of "uh, do you, um, you want this?", I found the food to be so-so, but pricey. No thanks, unless you guys get your act together and get better service and more stellar food.
