Land of the Lost
Bursting with awesome shit, Land of the Lost is one the most tubular vintage resale stores in existence. Located at Belmont and Broadway, the majority of L.O.T.L.’ s wares deal in late 70's/early 80's kitsch, and they’ve been selling it way before that kind of thing became so popular. Owned by a member of awesome recently-deceased local rock band “The Bish,” the staff knows “cool” and it shows. They’re friendly, even though they don’t have to be, and unlike similar stores, they don’t act like you’re a moron when you ask a question. The selection, including jeans, jackets and jean jackets, is large, impressive and eclectic. Although vintage tends to be on the expensive side (that’s what makes it vintage), Land Of The Lost’s prices are pretty alright, and deals can be found. A huge selection of badass sunglasses and bags, plus a mind-blowing array of sweet t-shirts make Land of the Lost the best place to stock up on ironic (or not so) summertime goods in Lakeview.
