Luna Spa and Salon
Like most spoiled brats, I want to do things when I feel like it. I don't need lectures about oversleeping and bagging the gym. Don't tell me to limit my chai latte intake. And please don't call to ask if I'm ready for a haircut. Like church and state, booking and styling should be separate. The latter issue sent me nomadically wandering in search of a less guilt-inducing hairdresser, which is how I found Mae at Luna Salon. Mae's got mad skills with scissors. I gave her a picture and she gave me shampoo-commercial hair. The day following my cut, as I collected compliment after compliment, I almost started to feel like I actually did something to warrant the praise. But, no. The accolades belong solely to Mae. Luna is accommodating and usually can book your appointments with short notice, if necessary. The salon also gives you one free bang trim in between cuts and the prices are so reasonable that you'll be able to afford some of the Bumble & Bumble products on display.
