If you are looking for a semi-quiet spot with lots of personality to get your drink on and hang out with friends, look no further than the best bar (next to Cato's Ale House of course) in the neighborhood: The Kona Club. Be prepared for plentiful tables with mood lighting to rest your fancy Hawaiian drink on. The drinks are $6 bucks a pop and you get a generous dose of coconut/macadamia fancy frou-frou madness, which you can pair with whatever fine selection of food you'd like to bring or order in. With the blow fish lights, exploding volcano, and dancing hula girl, you get a tiny respite from the urban world that we call the Bay Area. If the mellow atmosphere, plentiful tables, and drinks aren't enough to pull you in, maybe the pool table and truly amazing jukebox selections will do it.
